线图line chart在雅思写作中出现的几率很高, 很多同学在写线图的时候句式单一, 用词重复, 内容安排不合理. 线图到底要怎么写? 每一个变化都要体现吗? 要不要对比? 数据要精确吗? 这篇文章将帮你解答诸如此类的疑惑.第一部分: 线图的段落结构:

The line graph below shows radio and television audiences throughout the day in 1992. summarize the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

1, 线图要写多少词:

150-200词之间最合适

2, 数据要很准确吗?

如果有明确的数字和比例, 则要精确; 如果是一个大概的区间, 不重要, 大概估算一下, 可能是55%, 56%, 57%都可以, 没有标准答案.

3, 可以出现自己的观点吗?

不可以. 看到什么写什么, 客观描述.

4, 所有趋势都要写吗?

不需要, 尤其是有多根线的时候, 可以省略一些不重要的趋势, 直接挑重要的写. 但不可以省去整个一根线.

5, 连接词重要吗?

很重要, 要多使用类似, similarly, on the other hand, however之类的连接词, 增加连贯性

6, 用什么时态?

建议都用past tense过去时; 个别题目会是对未来的预测, 则需要使用将来时, 或者表示预计的表达: be expected/projected/estimated/predicted to.....
